Remove one (1) Avocado tree adjacent to rear, right side boundary and replace with one (1) local native tree from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to a mature height greater than 5metres, anywhere on the property within one (1) month of removal. Since the previous inspection in July of 2022 under TPO-202/2022 (refused) the tree’s canopy had thinned, it roots were also assessed to have further lifted the pavers in the neighbouring property. To remediate the damage, large diameter structural roots would have to be removed which would compromise the tree’s anchorage. A comprehensive Structural Engineer’s report, a sewer diagram, and Tree Replacement Management Plan, have been provided.

Remove one (1) Fig tree from rear garden area. This tree is only small and has most likely escaped from a pot, however, it is now growing in the ground with the potential to reach massive proportions, damaging both the applicant’s and neighbouring properties. It is in an unsuitable and unsustainable location and has insufficient space to mature in good health with vigour. As there is insufficient greenspace on the property to accommodate one mature replacement tree, the replacement tree requirement is to be satisfied in a one-off Offset Tree Planting payment.

Remove one (1) London Plane tree at rear right side of property and replace with one (1) local native tree from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to a mature height greater than 5metres, anywhere on the property within one (1) month of removal. This tree has co-dominant stems which likely emanated from it being lopped at ground level when juvenile. At the time of inspection, the tree was assessed to be in fair health with poor form and structure, it had salt burn, and was in an inappropriate location with insufficient space to mature. It had been previously internodally pruned, remedial pruning will not restore it to health or proper form.
