- Description
- Remove one (1) Banksia integrifolia (Coastal Banksia) from the front yard, next to 22 Wallis Parade and replace with one (1) small-sized local native tree from Council’s Development Control Plan 2022, Annexure B3-2 Tree Canopy Replacement Planting List, of minimum 45L pot size, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. This semi-mature tree is in excellent health and condition however it is within a small garden bed and within proximity to an electric gate at 22 Wallis Parade which has already required repairs due to the expansion of tree's rootsystem. A comprehensive arborist report has been provided which concludes: "...no feasible arboricultural engineering solution exists that would allow both the retention of the tree and protection of the affected infrastructure...As the tree is only semi-mature, it will continue to increase in both stem diameter and root spread over coming decades. Consequently, further displacement of the boundary fence, gate footings and nearby underground services is considered likely if the tree is retained."
