Neither the original DA application (DA/888/2014) or the subsequent modification (DA/888/2014/A) provide drawings to show the proposed layout of the new parking areas, and the driveway access onto Pitt Street.

I believe clause 2a should remain as a condition of this DA. There is an undersupply of parking in this area and already vehicles park on the verge and illegally block driveways. There is a high risk that should the parking area be fully paved the owner will attempt to park more than the two cars specified in the original application documentation. Council should also consider minimising areas of new hardstand construction to both promote natural urban run-off and protect Randwicks areas of green space.

Please can the council take into account the significant shortage of street parking in the vicinity of this project when reviewing the proposed driveway dimensions. Many driveways in this area are much wider than physically required to provide vehicular access and therefore reduces the street parking capacity disproportionate to the new private parking capacity created. Any DA should provide clear dimension limitations on the driveway to preserve street parking for local residents.

Clause 2a has nothing to do with public parking. It is requested by civil engineer for the purpose of structural requirements.

Clause 2a requested to be removed by civil engineer for proper structural requirements
