I object to this application on the basis that Meadowbank is already overdeveloped and cannot accept more development without signifigcant investment in infrastructure. Further development should be stopped until all ongoing developments both in Meadowbank and surrounding suburbs are completed and the real impact of further development can be assessed in the correct context. There is no need to rush into further development approvals at this time.

Completely agree with the previous comment.

In addition, this development is, as with so many in the area now, excessive, pointless and will contribute further to the astonishing congestion and pressure placed on all infrastructure, facilities and shared space in the area. The fault lies of course with state governments - both liberal and labor. However in at least registering nominal opposition to further development (through their own dis empowered planning processes), our elected representatives on the City of Ryde council can place themselves politically and morally on the right side of history when the chickens finally come home to roost on the mess the state government has created.

I completely agree with previous comments.

In the last decade Meadowbank has already been doing more than its share of heavy lifting in residential development. It is so overdeveloped these days that assessment of any new development proposal should be put on hold until a review has been carried out by Council as to how many more units/residents can Meadowbank's infrastructure can tolerate. Meadowbank used to have only about 1000 residents. Over the last 10 years or so it's population has grown by at least 500%, and still counting. On the other hand, there has been negligible increase in infrastructure capacity to accommodate such dramatic increase in population within such a short span of time.

Agreed with previous comments. The area is over developed with infrastructure especially traffic condition on constitution road severely deteriated over the last two year. Heavy congestion during peak hours. Especially constitution road and Bowden street roundabout.

Absolutely agree with previous comments. This area CANNOT cope as it is. Too many residents crammed into a small area, traffic at a standstill during peak hour and all local residential streets parked out all day, every day. Local school now overburdened also. Stop this madness please!

I didn't even think there were a few square metres left in Meadowbank thanks to the greed of developers and our stupid NSW State Government. Meadowbank is an absolute eyesore. Now the target is West Ryde. A developer is trying to change the 4 storey limit at 2 Chatham Road to a 7 storey monstrosity. It is a small block of just over 1900 square metres and backs onto houses. They sneakily got a NSW Government gateway determination without one resident being informed. Be aware of what is going on in your suburb!!!

Hello. I object to this application. Meadowbank is already high dense area. For start the resident's of this area are completely over thec construction. Builders work all hours of the day and the environment is being ruined. Traffic is at a compete stand still everyday at the round about on constitution rd adding to that will just make it worse. We dont have enough infrastructure to cope with more people on bowden st and this rd.

Meadowbank is overly developed, period. I don't see any improvement on roads to control traffic flow. The train travel is frustrating, with delay upon delay. These issues will increase if further developements are approved. The Government and the council really need to knuckle down on these issues of over development and improve infrastructure (roads and rail) to move the growing amount of residents in Meadowbank and surrounding areas. Australia is not a third world country but the lack of infrastructure is making it look that way.
