We have recently purchased in the street as we moved away from an area where there where multiple unit developments which caused many issues in our street.
From the lengthly build period where large trucks where constantly in and out of the street causing traffic kaos to tradies parking in our driveways .
When this house caught on fire last year the fire dept struggled to get into the street from one end because of the current congestion in the top of the street which cars overflow into the end of the street. We feel that a four unit site will cause major issues in the street.
Although the plans indicate 2 car spaces per unit, three of the units have tandom carparks which will lead to many cars been left on the street to avoid moving cars all the time.
We understand that developments are always going to happen but we feel a 4 unit site is just not appropriate ,It will take away from the beautiful quite street and devalue the street.
