it is a joke for 8 triple storey to be built in zone 1 no extra car parking space, congestion, privacy for residents around, there is no hub close by,Councillers don`t live in the area so dont worry because we (councillers ) wont be around when problems arise. No open space no green ,you get a pat in the back and we residents choke.well done voiceless councillers.

I regularly turn right into Bellevue Terrace from Gaffney Street. I have noticed in recent times that, due to the number of cars parked on the street, the traffic in Gaffney Street is held up as cars heading towards each other in Bellevue Terrace enable the passing of parked cars. Considering that the plan is for two current dwellings to be replaced by 8 triple storey dwellings with limited parking, this traffic situation will only become worse. The right hand turn from Gaffney Street into Bellevue Terrace is a difficult turn as it is due to oncoming traffic and low visibility over the crest of the hill. Bellevue Terrace is a narrow street, difficult to move through with increased cars already parking on the street.
Please consider the density of developments and the impact on long term residents. We have great difficulty exiting our driveway as our street has recently seen 3 houses turned into 13 double storey dwellings, many of which have two cars with parking available for less than one car per dwelling. This is not sustainable and definitely impacts the quality of life for residents of Pascoe Vale. Surely there must be a limit to the number of multi-dwelling developments in any one street. Please consider the impact on ratepayers.

My understanding is that this is only one property being turned into eight properties. The problem of parking will be exacerbated by the steep nature of the property and people will be inclined to park on the narrow street rather than use the steep narrow driveway of the proposal. Additionally, the three storey proposal will reduce the amenity for neighbours in single storey properties. In addition, the proposed three storey buildings are on the east-west flight path for Essendon Airport which has some very large aeroplanes landing there. Even international flights regularly land at Essendon Airport.

The council should insist on each apartment to have minimum 2 carparking spaces and further allowance for visitor carparks prior to issuing any permits of this nature. Please consider the impact on the street and the ripple on effects to the rest of the suburb from issuing permits of this nature. Carparking will overflow on to the street and will add to the congestion already present in this area. This will in one way or the other impact on house values in this area as it progressively becomes an urban slum.
Is this the character of residence we wish to have for this suburb ? Personally I don't. I hope the council sees some sense into issuing building permits and ensures minimum mandatory carparks and other requirements are met so as to not impact on the neighborhood.

The driveway they built is impossible for any vehicles to access as it’s so steep so all the residents will need to park in the street good luck with that #badplaning
