1. This house is a Lend Lease Demonstration home and one of what was at the time, the largest demonstration village in the Southern Hemisphere. There are approximately 20 other Lend Lease demonstration homes still existing in the vicinity of this house. The house is in substantially original condition, having only limited alterations and additions. It is the 'Californian' model from 1971 and as such is very near to the end of Lend Lease Homes venture and one of the last homes designed while Nino Sydney was chief Architect. It is a very rare model. I have only found one other in existence in Sydney so far. It should not be demolished, but rather preserved for its historical value.
