There should be NO REDUCTION in car parking and the scale should be reduced too.

10 stories? For real? Please explain how this fits in with local environment in any way? And 116 dwellings and you want to *reduce* car parking? Just because you build this stuff near a tram line, do you think people don't have cars? Or don't have friends visiting? Or the idea that building an office won't require parking? Just look at the traffic around this area already and you'll see that it's already overloaded with traffic all of the time.

It's bad enough that eyesores like this are going up willy nilly on Lygon Street but surely we don't have to have them everywhere? What is going on in Brunswick East at the moment? Apart from relentless rubber stamping of developer's cash cow plans that is. People are going to look back at the suburb in not that many years and wonder how it was ever allowed to end up like this.

I'm extremely disappointed that a 10 storey building is proposed for this area.
You will destroy the Community feel of the area, the demographic will change. Less families, less affordable houses, more short term residents and a transient population. This will be an eyesore and put pressure on an already struggling public transport system not to mention the terrible traffic congestion in the area.
