This is a family home adjacent to Queens Park Botanic Gardens, and has been for all my living memory.
When did it become a Hotel?
If it is a Hotel, are the planning requirements the same as a house?

80 Campbell Street was built for John Rosser c.1896 and named Whyembah. He was a commercial traveller and also a champion Lawn Bowls player who had his own bowls green behind the house. There is a plaque to his honour at the entry to the Bowls Club in Lindsay Street.
The house was renovated and enlarged in 1906 and was placed on the Queensland Heritage Register in 1993.
At one time it was the home of Toowoomba Council's CEO Ken Gouldthorp.

This application is over land at 80 Campbell Street OAKEY. The council have entered it in error over 80 Campbell Street East Toowoomba. Rest assured there are no plans to establish or extend a hotel on this site in East Toowoomba.
