I strongly contend that permitting subdivisions within the Pelverata area runs counter to the vision outlined in your Strategic Goal 4: Cultivating Vibrant Towns and Villages, as outlined in the Draft Ten-Year Strategic Plan. Allowing further subdivision in this area not only threatens the integrity of our community's character but also imposes significant strain on vital resources and infrastructure. The inevitable cascade effect of such development would undoubtedly necessitate costly expansions in essential services, such as waste management and road maintenance, for which the council may presently lack adequate funding. It's imperative that we consider the long-term sustainability and vibrancy of our towns and villages before proceeding with any decisions that could compromise their integrity.
