Here we go - Mobil X now wants to go back to something that was stopped, namely, a drive through pick up for fast food. Please stop this again, Marion Council.

Marion Council should not approve this. But it's not surprising. If Andrash get this, they'll lodge a plan variation to remain open for 24 hours. We knew this was what they would do Marion Council - PLEASE REFUSE THIS VARIATION !!

I believe this should not be approved because it goes back to some of the original designs put forward in an application last year which after considerable community involvement was declined by the Marion council.

However the same development was resubmitted for approval. After alterations were made to its design. In order for it to comply with conditions made by Marion Council to address community concerns and conform to regulations and was finally approved.

Thus they are trying to get in by the back door with some of there original designs. No was the answer the first time and should be the answer now and to stay on track with what has been approved.

What's the point of going through planning assessments etc if Andrash are going to keep trying till they get what they wanted in the first place.
It's hard not to be cynical. No should be no. PLEASE LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE AND RUFUSE THIS VARIATION.

The specialist traffic report that examined the effect of the service station traffic on Miller Street only looked at the increased vehicle movements that would eventuate from the petrol filling activity of the Andrash / X-Convenience business, because the development plan that got through the final CAP meeting did NOT include the fast-food drive-through. This proposed pan variation will significantly INCREASE traffic movements on Miller Street and in the neighbourhood generally. The development variation proposed is therefore unacceptable and must not proceed. The voices of the community were ignored and silenced on traffic issues in the CAP process and should be listened to on this occasion. Traffic movement in the surrounding community has been severely compromised by the prolific suburban infill policies pursued by the Marion Council, whereby narrow surrounding streets are now full of parked cars. A fast-food drive-through will increase traffic movements and present a real and present danger to this neighbourhood, especially at night. It must be refused.

I would be very disappointed if Marion Council agreed to the changes that Andrash had applied for after Marion has already said No. These asked for changes would make the area become dangerous, and spoil the surroundings, Marion Council please say No , Look after our area PLEASE
