What will be done with Windsor road & Old Windsor roads?
Something seriously needs to be done, as this will create further issues

The increasing development is changing and uprooting residents lives, not necessarily in a good way.
Many local residents are saddened to witness the change of the landscape they’ve been living in for years.

The increased traffic flow down Terry road into Riverstone has made it tricky to navigate an intersection that I now see as a high-crash zone. Which has had at least 1 fatality since the rapid developments of that area began since 2016. (i.e The corner of Garfield & Edmund streets).

As the developments increase, renting residents are being squeezed out of their dwellings because whole streets are being flattened for rebuild. People are living financially tight during this time, trying to plan ahead while anxiously awaiting the news that their life is being uprooted.

With rental prices so high, when existing residents are uprooted, they cannot easily just find another affordable rental that allows them to remain in the area close to work & their existing life community.
(And we all know there isn’t necessarily a tonne of other employment options available right now in a new area).

The rapid development at these prices is creating a pressure cooker environment for residents & their mental /physical health. It needs to slow down, it needs to be more affordable.
People and councils aim to have residents living close to work with a life balance. At the current speed, prices & squeeze, people will still travel long distance in highly crammed traffic to pay the bills & anxiously stay afloat.
