We are very concerned about this application as we are directly behind this property and for a while the amount of people and noise have been very disruptive to our life.
There have been schoolies and partying all day and till all hours of the morning.
Very loud music yelling and swearing makes it very hard to sit on our balcony or listen to our tv.
    It is affecting us greatly.
    Kind regards
    James Burke

We are disappointed and worried by this application.
As a nearby neighbour we have already experienced the very disruptive noise levels at all hours of the night and day from the many homes and units let in this immediate area.
Without proper control of who rents the properties and proper behaviour from the tenants, this area will develop a most unpleasant reputation.
Surely there should be better controls over the level of noise based on the hour of the day/night.

To hear council is entertaining yet another DA for a house to accommodate up to 16 people is extremely disappointing. These applicants rarely live in the area so are unconcerned with the noise and disruptions that letting out this type of property causes. Partying, hens nights, loud music is not what local residents want. Please support our community’s desire and see that this will only equate to parking problems, unreasonable noise disturbance and the type of people not wanted in the area.

16 people getting together in a resort style dwelling geared to outdoor entertaining are going to take up a significant amount of noise and therefore impact on the amenity of the surrounding area.
No amount of vetting of applicants, ‘house rules’ or genuine intentions by an owner to prevent such disturbances are ever going to be effective in negating impacts on the neighbours. Additionally, relying on a complaint handling policy is like shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted.
Such large scale holiday letting should never be allow in a quiet low density residential area.
