There are several issues with this DA. I am compelled to write my objections.

Yet another few magnificent giant trees in Bondi Junction to be sacrificed to make way for an unnecessary studio above a garage. So sad to see possums seeking refuge from cats and dogs during daylight hours!! Sadder still are all the possums being slaughtered in the mechanics of roller doors whilst attempting to seek shelter because their trees are GONE. Cruel way to die!!! Come on Waverley Council Please keep the trees!!!!!!

Why are there no privacy screens on any of the 3 windows facing other houses onto Kenilworth Lane?
This is absolutely a must in Kenilworth Lane. If the applicant is going to quote all other developments on the laneway, the applicant too should respect the standard others have adhered to- by placing privacy screens on their 3 windows facing the common space too.

Surely this DA request of the FSR is far beyond what is allowable on a tiny 240m2 block with almost no green space already! The established 3 storey houses' FSR is more than stated on this submission! Please verify and validate!

    To the applicant:
Don't quote other DA's falsely. 18 Kenilworth approved for garage with non walkable roof garden - not as quoted by the applicant of a studio above single garage.... don't make up facts to try to justify over development of a small property!

Why is there no formal Heritage Architect report on this property - just a collection of random personal observations about the look of surrounding properties made by someone who is clearly not qualified to comment on the provenance of the property & the surrounds. I assumed Waverley Council had an expected standard that a Heritage Architect must supply this report...... The "report" supplied does not even state the year the house was built! How is there any validity to this Heritage Statement?

    To Council...to be noted:
Photo on 4/4 on Heritage Statement by applicant, clearly shows how other properties blocking Kenilworth Lane- particularly those houses being renovated fronting Kenilworth Street. A random time on a random day - but a daily disruption to all users of Kenilworth Lane - showing zero consideration for anyone else wanting to access Kenilworth Lane. Although nothing to do with the applicant - it is common for builders to park daily like this & disrupt all. Council needs to make it demonstratively clear to any approved DA that this unlawful and incredibly selfish act of parking in Kenilworth Lane is absolutely not tolerated. Please maintain a standard
