Please do not allow this to go ahead. The height limits should be respected the same way that we respected them when we built around the corner. Thank you

I understand the height restrictions for our town of St Leonards is still 7.5 metres, this should not be allowed to change or we will have a plethora of applications along Bluff Road to the height of this house. When we built we had to completely change the pitch of our roof to comply with this restriction, which we did to allow us to build our house, why is this any different?

This permit would be vastly unfair to to all residents who have adhered to height restrictions in this area.
I see no reason for this permit to be passed, and if it was, the area would see a run of proposed permits to heighten current and future housing.

If this permit is passed, will all dwellings from this point be allowed to override the height restriction.
This will be unfair to all the people who have built within these restrictions and will alter the look of our town

The height restrictions should be abided to, other wise you would be setting a precedence to everyone else that wants to build a house in st leonards. We follow the guidelines so should they.

    We object.

The standard of the light building code leaves a lot to be desired so to make the height contrary to the original rules is a major mistake. Why are you changing the original heights? No need to change the rules, leave them as they have always been.

Was this permit granted or are the height restrictions still the same as always?
