Can the owners retain the trees in the back yard as part of the retain the knock-down-rebuild? All too often, contractors clear-fell every last thing on these old blocks, when with a bit of planning, trees can be pruned rather than demolished.
When the job is finished, could the owners consider planting trees on the verge for cooler streets?
