This could be like putting a short stay hotel in a residential area but with inferior conditions such as shared bathrooms, kitchen/meals area, by people who do not normally live as a family

How is potential overcrowding to be regulated? Who is responsible for this?

What are Covid 19 community transmission implications in an area where many older more vulnerable people live?

I wish to raise an objection to this proposal. On page 6 of the planning report, it says "This would allow up to 20 farm workers to be accommodated, which is the maximum the premises could accommodate without overcrowding"

There is insufficient car parking available on site to accommodate 20 occupants. Even though none of the current occupants currently drive a vehicle, this may change in the future as it has in other areas like Cobram where there has been a shift to a drive-in drive-out agricultural workforce.

There needs to be more car parking spaces before this planning permit gets approved. For instance, the applicant could easily create 5 car parks by putting a crushed rock on the nature strip.

This alarms me immensely .I would like to object in the strongest of terms
The size of the street And planning for so many “occupants “,does not bode well would most likely be more than the amount stated for parking
Surely this would lead to over crowding .And given the crisis we are all facing with Covid being spread mostly in doors due to close contact does alarm me immensely.
Quarbong is a small And quite narrow street in Places, due to parking at the best of times .Which becomes even more crowded due to the amount of cars visiting that area during school times ,Manorvale, this would make it aN even bigger nightmare and CB potentially a traffic hazard .
Also this eludes to shift work as most agricultural work is now shift work meaning coming and going at all times Of the day and night . This is a family area why build a short stay hotel like dwelling in a family neighbourhood .
I have a better idea build it in Werribee south on agricultural land where these people will be working
Do not the covenants on that land in Werribee south state ,”buildings for farm workers are allowed “.?
I’m sure the people who live in quarbong street will be objecting to this . This will not only bring the value of their property down but change the whole tone of the neighbourhood. Please do not allow this to go ahead . Come on council do your job you are about raising the image of Werribee not just jamming in homes for profit . Thank you
