I have yet to see a new house in Epping with a tree planted in the new garden. Most new and revised landscaping consists of lawn and perhaps the odd tree or hedge.

Too many trees are coming down; we need more trees to be planted, not less. The whole fabric of Epping has changed and it is not good.

Meant to say "odd shrub" not "tree" - there's no trees being planted in private gardens.

I oppose the removal of trees in private gardens because the trees are so important for our microclimate and for our streetscape. If necessary perhaps the tree can be pruned. There is no information provided as to why the residents want to remove the tree? can you please provide an arborist report on the type of tree?

I absolutely agree with these comments Kate, its being decimated. I also thought the planning suggested like for like? I must mistaken.
