I oppose the reduction in parking spaces on site. The ‘requirement’ re parking spaces is set for a reason.
Neerim & Kokaribb Roads are already overcrowded due to previous builds having a reduction in parking. Most apartments with 2 residents have 2 cars even though Carnegie is well catered for with public transport. Not everyone works on or near transport options.
Woolworths in Kokaribb Road should not be considered as carpark ing overflow. That space is owned by Woolworths. What happens if they sell to a developer one day considering there’s another Woolworths supermarket near Dandenong Road.
I also Oppose the waiver of the loading bay requirement. Where will removal vans park? Where will produce delivery drivers park re the shops?

Congestion in Carnegie is escalating to unreasonable levels despite more & more apartment blocks being constructed. Council should not be pushing vehicles onto street parking by constantly allowing the reduction of parking spaces on site.
