Please get an arborist report, rather than just remove the tree. Maybe it is fine? Maybe it needs pruning. It is an important tree for the streetscape and also for the attractiveness of your garden.
Trees are crucial to maintain shade along the street and to help cool the neighbourhood in summer.

I object to the removal of a eucalyptus tree just because it is shedding leaves and branches. Epping has already lost too many mature indigenous trees and they are important for the ecological stability of the area. I agree with the previous comment that an arborist report is warranted before a decision can be made.
