    This is a well looked after and substantial brick house with an established garden on the corner of Clanalpine Street. It has always been a showpiece for the collection of different flowing shrubs which attract the dwindling birds and insects, that have become scarce since the decimation of established trees and shrubs, have given way to the bulldozing of all vegetation to give way to concrete and fence to fence development.

    This application reflects the stupidity of Ryde existing Duplex planning.
    Substantial quality homes on corner blocks are constantly being demolished for Duplex construction, while poorly built, poorly maintained decrepit homes on 15 m wide blocks dot the council area

    Eastwood future will be Duplex on Every corner, Decrepit home on most other blocks.
