There is a slum estate with a lot of these so called ancillary units located near our residence - they are actually duplex's by another name and this practice of development should be banned state wide - most of these monstorities are owned by absentee landlords looking for a so called quick buck - each dwelling has a 4 bedroom unit and the other so called 1 bedroom unit that becomes a 2 bedroom unit by closing the garage door and that becomes the second bedroom - then talk about bloody cars parked on these narrow streets - the 4 bedroom unit can anywhere between 1 to 4 cars and the bedroom side can have 1 to 2 cars and they then park these cars all over the so called footpaths as well as along the kerbside - its time the council officers got their backsides in to gear came out at night to these estates and fined the bloody lot of them
NO COUNCILS should ever approve this absolute disgrace
