Council should only permit tree removal IF the trees in question pose a direct threat to the structural integrity of a building . Every tree is needed in the context of climate change .

Council should only permit the removal of trees if the trees are compromising pedestrian safety or the safety of the house. Every tree is needed in Sydney to act as a carbon sink and to mitigate urban heat.
