55 Lamrock Avenue Bondi Beach NSW 2026

Remove one (1) Jacarada tree, located at front of property. This tree is positioned in a location where it has insufficient space, the trunk has started to push on the hand rail and stairs causing them to shift. As the tree expands it will continue to cause extensive damages to the stairs as the trunk develops.

What a tragedy of inappropriate planting. Clearly, the Jacaranda is in the wrong spot for the building foundations but the right spot to provide shade to the terrace on top of the garage! The Pine on the street and the Palm in the front yard are all in the wrong place as well! Had the kind sole who planted these trees put the Jacaranda where the pine is and the Palm where the Jacaranda is currently, given the Pine away to the council to plant at Bondi beach, the streetscape, trees and population would have been better off! Think before you plant 'How big will this tree be when mature'. It is a nice legacy to leave a tree for future generations to enjoy, and our Avian neighbours to inhabit, but not have the onerous task of chopping it down! The world is full of well-intended mistakes. Research and analysis before acting would avoid this!
