With the incredible congestion at all hours of the day due to high traffic movement through this intersection, how on earth could common sense allow a development to occur here?
Access will be impossible and South and North bound traffic will be further bought to a standstill.

I agree with Warren Price. The traffic congestion in the Shire has reached a ridiculous level and it is time the Council took the matter seriously, and considered how many more vehicles can be acceptable on our roads. Ever since they allowed the Brickpit construction to increase in size, Developers have had a field day, with Boarding houses, affordable housing etc, with no thought for the people who now suffer from increased and dangerous traffic.

    1. The EIS notes 4.5 visitor parking spaces as a requirements, yet the development will only provide 4 spaces. Given the development is on President Avenue, with no on street parking, this figure should be rounded up instead of down to provide 5 parking spaces.

    2. Why is the notification plan just a set of more drawings? This does not detail anything about notification.

    3. The CMP, even while preliminary, does not describe how traffic will be managed in and out of the site against foot traffic, given that pathway is used extensively from those travelling from Sutherland to Kirawee and vice versa.
