I accept that dying/dangerous trees need to be felled. However, this DA should require that the applicant:

    1. replace every tree felled with a suitable new tree
    2. be required to produce evidence over time (6 months, 1 year) to prove the new tree/trees have been nurtured to maturity.

We ratepayers are fed up with the number of trees being cut down on the peninsula. This is an election issue.

    Thank you

I support that a tree should only be removed if it is classified as dangerous

As a general rule, any assessment should be done by an independent assessor, possibly employed by Council, not by a company which will financially benefit from the removal of the tree.
