This area already has a large number of licensed venues. Parramatta does not need gambling and alcohol premises located in such close proximity to housing, and with so many other unrelated retail businesses located in close proximity. These types of developments should be confined to the high traffic dining areas along Church Street, where there is already ample visibility. This development proposal will negatively impact the safety and noise of the area.

Agree. Parramatta doesn't need a gambling and alcohol premises as it intends to attract local people and tourists to enjoy high quality night entertainments and great foods in parramatta. When a place with gambling and alcohol it will become dangerous at night. It will destroy the city image.

a gambling den is not the answer for this area, cafe's/food are the answer... the location needs more food choices to extend "Eat Street" further up into North Parramatta, not just drinking and gambling locations... they bring nothing good.

Why not encourage/open a bistro/bar/cafe instead.. the locations is perfect for a large scale production/kitchen and sitting area..

There are already two pubs with tab & gambling facilities nearby. This pub will have only a walkway between it & childcare centre. Not needed. Agree more late night restaurants in this area are required
