This is a rich area of birdlife and I question whether the removal of all trees are necessary.
The tall eucalyptus in the driveway area, in particular provides much habitat to native birds. Developers should be encouraged to keep these trees and work around them.
The removal of these trees from the block will change the view of the hill and the ability of our urban areas to provide a living environment for existing flora and fauna.
