The Jacaranda exhibits poor habit for this species. Planting location lacks soil volume and stunted growth is noted. There are soft brittle branches (decay) in upper canopy. There is also minor damage (hollow) at base of trunk.

Remove five (5) Archontophoenix cunninghamiana (Bangalow palms) from the backyard and replace with three (3) local native trees from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to similar dimensions at maturity, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. The Palms are growing in a tight clump and are competing for sunlight and nutrients. They vary in height and width with three palms showing early signs of decay. There is canopy/frond damage due to their close proximity and some have crossing trunks which has been exacerbated by wind throw.
