I am writing to request approval for the removal of a significant native Wattle Tree located at 15/120 Queens Parade Fitzory North. The tree is approximately 12–14 metres in height with a trunk diameter of around 42cm and a canopy width of approximately 7 metres. It is located directly on the boundary fence line adjoining a neighbouring unit. The tree is causing significant damage to the boundary fence due to root growth and ongoing movement. It is also now pushing against the neighbouring property’s hot water system, creating concerns about further structural and property damage if the tree remains. Due to the location of the tree and the damage already occurring, complete removal is considered necessary to prevent further impact to both properties and associated infrastructure. All removal works would be undertaken by a qualified and insured arborist.
