The intention is to construct a new garage to replace the existing garage. The existing garage is at the rear of the property, at the end of the driveway. Only one of its sides runs along the property boundary, that is, the long side on the left as you face the front of the garage. The back of the garage sits about 1.1m from the back fence. The size of the new garage will be 4m wide x 10m long and 2.4m high with a 10 degree roof pitch. It too will run along the side boundary but will sit off the back fence by 1.2m. The new garage will be a colorbond gable garage, utilising a horizontal style cladding to match the style of the existing garage. The roof will be a corrugated iron, as is the case with the current garage. A garage door will be included at either end of the garage, although a cream sectional door will be installed at the garage frontage to match the look of the existing garage. Additional details concerning the garage are included in the attached proposal.
