This is an over-development of a busy corner location. Adjacent to the IGA Supermarket carpark, it is already a congested area with lots of traffic having poor visibility along Lilac Street. Lilac Street is a dangerous street, with bends making it difficult to see oncoming traffic or to pass if there are cars parked on both sides of the street. There is also a multistorey development proposed for Number 3 Heather Street which will further add to congestion. Add to this the number of cars that cut through to and from Centre Road to East Boundary Road. When considering planning applications for Heather Street, Glen Eira Council needs to look future traffic management, including the impact of the two large developments on East Boundary and Centre Roads.

Already busy street, not enough parking. Very crowded due to iga and other shopping spots so adding 6 more units is going to make it so much more worse. Already a struggle to get in and out of driveways.. Not sure how this is going to help at all.

It's not ideal. So hard to drive around the corner due to shopping area. Another townhouses will make it worse than it's already is.

Can someone from the elected council members please stand up for the residents who voted for you.please listen to the residents and their justifiable concerns with the over development of this site
There is so much congestion on our neighbourhood streets that the over development is causing traffic congestion and damage to cars parked on the streets also the safety for the residents trying to negotiate getting in and out their driveway or driving through their streets ENOUGH IS ENOUGH time to say NO to the Developers
