There are already multiple child care centres near this site:
One 500m away, another 550m away, another 750m away, another 1km away and many more in the area.
These services are not full which indicates that there is no more demand for additional child care centres in the area. Another build will mean that there is a high possibility that if this conversion was to go ahead, they will not reach high occupancy rates, meanwhile also impacting surrounding services. There is going to be an oversupply of child care centres in this community which I believe council really needs to consider and implement a policy that monitors the demand and supply of child care. An additional service will not benefit anyone.
