I am against further large development
    6 units is too much
    Protect the green wedge
Please reduce this to 4 dwellings

I am opposed to the density of six dwellings on this corner site . It is too many for this busy corner and for the space available. This corner is in the midst of both heavy traffic use and all day parking by commuters. Travelling along Bible St in both directions at present requires drivers to limit their speed to 20- 40 kph due to car parking on both sides of Bible St. With this development there will be more cars entering the traffic flow from this Bible St site further delaying traffic flows and increasing the liklihood of collisions occurring. Council has a responsibility to insist on off street car parking for visitors as well as all residents living in the newly built homes and to ensure means whereby cars can safely enter and leave the development.
It will be dangerous to navigate through this area during the demolition and construction phase. Will precautions be taken to address this.
I hope that Council will not accept a developer's argument that residents will be so close to the train station that cars wont be required by occupiers and therefore fewer if any car spaces will be needed on site.

Car parking is absolutely essential for all dwellings in central Eltham. The area is being choked up by vehicles feeding into Main Road from Council controlled side roads.

Six dwellings on a site of this size is too many. On site car parking is essential, including the visitor space.

Over- sized development for this block and unacceptable for this already very busy corner space. Car parking onsite is essential. No allowance for visitors car parking has the potential to have an overflow of cars being parked in nearby streets where extra parking will cause even more traffic congestion & higher risk of traffic accidents in this area. I totally oppose this development.

I oppose this development, 6 dwellings too many for a block this size. Bible Street already congested with traffic and rail commuters parking here. Also too much development at this busy intersection close to Eltham East Primary School. Will add further risk to pedestrians, families and children crossing to go to school. No school crossing located here. Already enough near misses of vehicles passing each other along Bible street with cars parked both sides of the street.
    Thankyou

I object to six units built in this corner as it is already difficult to navigate through Luck street currently. When cars along Bible street are parked too close to the intersection (especially big SUVs) , it is next to impossible to have a clear view turning into Luck street. I have had close misses prior due to cars exiting. This street is also far too dark at night with extremely low visibility. There are enough units along Luck street and not enough parking, anymore high density is just going to congest this street further and be a real risk to both pedestrians' and drivers' safety.

I have objected previously to 2 large blocks of flats in this area, in particular to the extra traffic congestion in this area, rubbish collection, emergency services accessing this area, Circular drive is the site of last resort for bush fire threats. Eltham has a lot of elderly residents, the parking and walking access is getting harder for them to navigate. I am finding it harder to get in and out of the Eltham shopping area on weekends, just the amount of traffic makes it difficult to access.

    Thank you
