I'm all for large apartments that target families and apartments blocks in inner suburbs makes sense.
However! Applying for 9 stories is not in keeping with the mostly heritage buildings facing it all of which are 1-2 stories. This will tower over even the new developments on Wellington st. The "park" directly next door is already hopelessly overshadowed this would turn it into a dungeon. This will detract from the current vibe on Peel st and probably require the removal of well established trees as well.
