1/on road parking not suitable for 18 dwellings
2/no constructed footpaths
3/182+ extra residents would double the populations putting stress on the street infrastructures
4/Natural gas unavailable necessitating more expensive energy sources
5. Three storey buildings are inconsistent with the visual appearance of the local area
6/Noise and nuisance levels(one hoon has already moved into this facility..creating stress and disruption)
7/Not consistent with the street architecture
8/Extra electrical lighting increasing the light footprint affecting the nocturnal wildlife including the microbats living in the nearby bushland reserve

1. Negative impact on the wildlife, carparking violating habitat, traffic compromising their safety, increased light footprint endangering the nocturnal wildlife which includes possums, gliders, microbats, mega bats, tawny frogmouths and owls.
2. This is a serene tree lined old street..This proposal would double the population of our entire neighbourhood. The infrastructure would not cope.
3.We have no footpaths
4.The tricky Nikko Rd Wyreema Rd intersection is more often than not taken very wide by those unfamiliar with it.The interest recently generated in the mentioned property has already increased traffic which has compromised the safety of pedestrians and other road users.
5.Three storied buildings are not present anywhere in Warnervale. It contravenes the streetscape as would medium to high density housing and be an ugly scar.
6.The peace and serenity would be compromised.
7.There is a child care centre in Wyreema Rd.Security would need to be increased and parking would be an issue.
8.Affordable housing would attract an unwelcome element to our neighbourhood.
9.There is no access to the sports field at the end of Wyreema Rd.The proposed additional residents would havd to access private property to access the sportsfield.
10.The boarding house already up and running at the site has at least one "hoon "in residence. This has already altered the sound and feel of Wyreema Rd,making us feel violated and disregarded.
11.Residents have been bullied for a long time. This money making venture is definitely a parting kick in the ribs gesture.A "I told you so " triumph or so they hope.

It would be great shame to destroy the quiet serenity of Wyreema ,Nikko Warnervale and Kanowna Roads. It's a hamlet style community, consisting of three dead end streets fed by Warnervald Rd and bordered by the railway line. The sound of trains muffled by the railway corridor adds to the country feel and is the only loud noise welcomed by the residents. It seems criminal to think of putting 18 two and three storied high density buildings into this area.It simply does not make sense.Already rubbish is appearing dumped all around the neighbourhood due to unscrupulous folk coming into the area due to the surrounding development...We love our homes and tend them and our gardens ..we have our hearts ans souls and finances invested here and we dont begrudge sharing ...a few houses on the site would be totally acceptable. Please dont let this terrible thing happen in Wyreema Rd.

I would feel unsafe walking my dog in the neighbourhood due to the increased traffic flow if this proposal were to eventuate.Motorists so often have no regard for a senior pedestrian. I would be inclined to stay indoors for fear of injury due to the hazardous risk factor.
The impact on the entire locality would be negative and depressing. The lovely ambience of the neighbourhood would be compromised as would the cohabitation with an amazing array of wildlife. Please help us to preserve a jewel from destruction.Already much wildlife has moved into this area due to their habitat loss in Railway Pde and Warnervale and Virginia Rds...give them a chance and us a peaceful existence.

I have lived at Wyreema Rd on and off with my mum for ten years. It is a place I go to for quiet time. The farmyard environment at my mum's who rescues and cares for injured and orphaned wildlife is idyllic and the neighbourhood safe and relaxed .My toddler sons enjoy strolls to the park and Warnies our local cafe.Pushing a double pram has been a challenge as there are no footpaths and the roads are really torn up but that's a small price to pay for the rural feel of home.I shudder to think of the possible consequences of my boys riding bikes and the like and playing games on the lovely naturestrip at nana's place if this proposal were to meet fruition.I feel that lifestyle change and paranoia will eventuate. This proposal is not just giving people somewhere to live , it is a money making and spiteful scheme by a person who has bullied and intimadated my gentle and caring mum for a very long time, as well as countless other residents.
Three and two storey buildings overlooking so many private yards is ludicrous!Such a development would ruin rhe lives of so many folk who have invested so much time, love, money and hard work into their great Australian dream.
There are many many other locations suitable for this kind of housing and Wyreema Rd is off that grId.
Stress and depression has settled upon Wyreema Rd district but also a
community spirit and determination to fight for our rights and lifestyle. The message we keep hearing is that bullies shall not be tolerated.

Oh no !I simply cannot believe that this beautiful area could even be considered for this type of housing. It is very Sydney like and totally unsuitable for this area.I love visiting my friend in Nikko Rd and having a gentle stroll about the neighbourhood.
There is no need for such a style of housing and far too many people!
The streets are all deadend streets, therefore the traffic having no other way in nor out must pass my friends home twice per trip and times that by all the extra vehicles times how many times those folk are in and out everyday makes fof a huge huge jncrease in traffic, pedestrians and trouble. It is a very stressful proposal. Please do not allow this to nappen.
The crime rate would escalate especially with affordable housing, and how come a boarding house is already up and running at this site? I thought that was illegal!
My friend has already been a victim of break and enter since surrounding development has seen an ircrease of pedestrians cutting through properties to and from the railway station , and was fearful of reprisal after calling the police when an empty house was vandalised by youths returning from the train trip.
Lets help keep this old streegt safe.

Wyreema,Nikko,Kanowna and Warnervale Roads is essentially a hamlet consisting of large blocks lovingly maintained, and streetscapes mindful of and blending harmoniously with the natural environment.
Many residents have been long time inhabitants of the area and are from families that are part of pioneering history .Surely their voices should be heard emphatically .As as regular visitor to this neighbourhood I enjoy the quiet and the country feel.I would have difficulty finding a parking spot if 50 or so extra vehicles were crammed along the roadside, and it would prove impossible for a truck to turn around at the end of Wyreema Rd.I envisage this quiet street becoming a blackspot and undesirable. That would surely reflect poor planning and little regard for these good citizens. There are a myriad of problems arising from this proposal, ugliness, overpopulation for the facilities, litter, security, flora and fauna compromisation.
I strongly object to this proposal and would like to see a more area appropriate and reasonable idea put forward.

I park my car at my friend's house in this neighbourhood for security when I catch a train from Warnervale station.I would not be comfortable doing that if heaps more people were also parking and milling about .I would no longer consider it a safe place to leave my car, especially if it were to be for some days.
It would be a crime to compromise the overall feeling of safety and wellbeing that one feels with their living environment by introducing an intrusive kind of development as that proposed. All the numbers dont add up.Too many people and all the issues that come with a huge injection of a population suddenly swollen beyond substainability .
I strongly object to this idea .There simply is not enough street to share with an influx and the flooding edges of the road during heavy rain would wash grease and petrol and oil into the stormwater and soil. The environment and the residents would be at an all time loss loss loss.

Nikko Rd is one of the best addresses I have enjoyed.Sitting on the verandah after a hard day's work, cold beer in hand, watching the sunset with the odd train tooting as it. passes and the ding of the level railway crossing.Cockatoos, galahs and rosellas, king parrots and satin bower birds all singing and calling and dashing for a roost.Rush hour traffic and loiterers would not belong. The roads, already shocking,Warnervale Rd wrecks my car, rubbish being tossed about,Our wildlife getting disturbed and run over.It just isn't the fair or the right thing to do.Too much of a trade off.A no win situation all round if this nightmare should happen.
