This section of Warriewood is already a bottleneck with the traffic to and from Mater Maria College. It is a nightmare to get through in the mornings and afternoons. Cars build up in this street when parents are dropping kids off and waiting to pick them up.
Putting this number of new buildings in such a tight street when there are children coming and going is ridiculous and an accident waiting to happen.
It must also be a fire hazard if hundreds of people are trying to leave that area in a hurry.
This is also very close to another residential estate on the other side of Mater Maria . The roundabout at the bottom of the street is always gridlocked and a traffic hazard with cars trying to come out of the residential area, the school and now, possibly with 81 new dwellings. Just because there is an empty block of land does not mean that every square inch of it should be covered in a building. Single houses on that block would make more sense. Multiple dwellings, absolutely not.
