Another development impacting on Cecil street. Another application which will impact the residents if Cecil Street without any notification to the residents who will be impacted. We already have huge issues with parking in Cecil street with a huge development about to be undertaken at 6-8 Cecil street which has had no thought put to the impact on such a small street. We carry a huge bulk of parking from Banks street which has a lot of multi unit developments and not enough parking available. This means residents in Cecil street have difficulty with visitors or clients being able to park. We have requested a parking survey to be carried out but nothing has been done. We cannot understand how an additional dwelling can be built on such small blocks. Banks street will have to be made angle parking all the way to accommodate the additional vehicles. Our garbage is often unable to be collected until later in the day as the truck cannot access the street due to all the vehicles. The residents if Cecil street are ratepayers like all other residents and they deserve the same attention as other residents we don't even have a footpath. This development is going to create a lot of problems in the street and we would appreciate the council taking a proactive stand on the iverdevelipment of the area.
