Fantastic project, very important to retain older building not just new builds. These style of buildings are what make Newcastle stand out. Hopefully bigger, open New York style apartments will be part of this vision. Older people downsizing want space as well as amenities. Many of the newer apartments are way too small and will struggle looking shabby and dated in 10 years time. Good designs last and contribute to the city’s long term appeal.
