Regarding the 0207/18DA for this address. I object to the addition of an extra storey for this development. 4 storeys are not in line with the assurances given in Woolgoolga Masterplan that heights would not exceed 3 storeys. Further there has been no provision made for additional car parking that will be required with the addition of 4 residential units. We do not need high rise buildings in the beach precinct of Woolgoolga.

Woolgooga is not a city.
And the 0207/18DA should not be a 4 level building.
Please keep Woolgoolga centre a low rise village.

Woolgoolga is known for its quaint seaside beach appeal. The community do not want high rise buildings in the main street.

Decisions are being made that are not in line with the wonderful small town reputation Woolgoolga has.

Please don't destroy this lovely little village any further.

The plan for Woolgoolga and the changes on that plan were for three stories only, it was stated that Woolgoolga would not exceed this in the current town plan. I object to the extra floor as it will ruin the seaside village aspect. We do not want to become another jetty as Coffs has got or what the Gold Coast has. You believed as the council that you consulted if you can call it that well hold you to that word and allow us to stay at three story limit.

Re the 0207/ 18 DA proposed at this address. The request to build a 4th storey here, goes against the Woolgoolga Masterplan which was specifically designed to uphold and preserve the town’s village feel. There are very few pristine coastal gems like ours left on the mid north coast. The natural environment and the laidback lifestyle is what drew us to Woolgoolga. These things are likely to suffer if overdevelopment occurs.
I would sincerely ask the decision makers to take into consideration the concerns of the locals, as it is they/us who make this beautiful town as great as it is. Please vote no to this proposal.

RE: 0207/18 DA. Woolgoolga is a very special town needs careful management. This particular site currently has approval for two stories. An additional 2 stories is inconsistent with the Woolgoolga town plan. Further a mixed use development of this size requires more parking for visitors to the tavern, and more parking for holiday or long term tenants of the apartments and their visitors. I believe a development of this scale is unsuitable for the location and implore the council to adhere to the townplan and ensure that developments respect the unique environment that Woolgoola offers residents and visitors.

Overwhelmingly the Woolgoolga community is against the proposed Woolgoolga development, one has to simply ask the locals. The development plan itself clearly states that the plan is not accurate. The so called community consultation was & remains exceptionally poor and appears to be focused on a very small selected few, a few who in themselves do not reflect the will of the community, i.e. chamber of commerce. The on line surveys undertaken were poorly constructed and results easily manipulated to suit the ends of individuals. Woolgoolga has no elected representative on council and as such has no voice in council. I recommend that council reflect upon activities to date and consider communicating with each Woolgoolga resident to gain their input on this subject. Is not the community desires & needs the highest priority of the council?

Residential units and a tavern are a bad mix to start with . To allow additional units just to increase the developers profit is silly policy. The town plan is the result of a lot of work by qualified professionals and should not be overridden .

The arguments to avoid additional parking are a manipulation of figures and take no account of future growth . In ten years time Woolgoolga will need more parking and the fact that it is currently adequate is no excuse for developers to avoid their obligations .

I am opposed to the scale of this building, being four stories high. It will be out of character compared to the rest of the beach precinct. He developers should comply with the planning scheme at the very least.

I object to the addition of an extra storey for this development. 4 storeys are not in line with the assurances given in Woolgoolga Masterplan that heights would not exceed 3 storeys. I believe the existing building line is appropriate and future buildings should not be higher in this area.

Also there has been no provision made for additional car parking that will be required with the addition of 4 residential units. We do not need high rise buildings in the beach precinct of Woolgoolga. This part of Woolgoolga sets the tone for our village centre. I do not want to see the same poor development decisions made in many Sydney suburb e.g. Dee Why, where overdevelopment is an eyesore and parking is inadequate.
