As homeowners in Wilson Street, we object to the development's scale, height, and facade treatments. A development of this scale within the Olde Berwick township should be publicly posted and communicated within the local area. The height of the development is out of sync with the surrounding township, as is it's aesthetic. We ask that council consider this last piece of empty land in the township carefully and apply judicious guidelines on the building on this site. We understand and accept it's ability to be a mixed use commercial and residential property, we just ask that council apply some time to ensuring it enhances and not detracts from the local character of Olde Berwick which it unique in style and feel to all other areas of Melbourne.

Anyone wishing to oppose the permit, here is a form you can fill out. The more forms the better. http://www.casey.vic.gov.au/files/assets/public/building-planning/statutory-planning/planning-subdivision/objection_to_a_planning_permit_01-07-2016.pdf
This side of Berwick needs to stay traditional.
Things to consider including in your objections.
Traffic after building, traffic during building, road closure, sudden increase in population to the area, the look doesn't fit in with the area, the size.
