Description
Section 96(2) modification of approved Stage 1 building envelope to increase the podium height of the development by 2 levels. This results an increase in hotel accommodation by 2 levels (at levels 9 and 10) within the podium that were previously approved as residential apartments. Changes are also proposed to the footprint of the lobby areas, commercial tenancy and laneway at ground floor; an extension of the building envelope at the rear of the heritage listed Porter House and addition of a footbridge link between the podium of the new development and Porter House at first floor; the use of level 1 of Porter House for hotel facilities; the provision of areas for shared hotel and residential facilities and mechanical plant at level 11; additional residential apartment floor space at level 35 (currently approved as plant area only); additional height to accommodate plant area; and setback amendments at all levels.
