Living near this mess for the last two years and the associated junk left on the road by the owner, who thought it was OK to rip away the cliff without a permit and to leave junk out on the street, I wonder what can be done other than 'cleaning it up'.
There is a growing danger that the cliff as it exists is being undermined by the
'natural' water course, which runs down one side. Since the rock was removed and building work halted this water course has grown considerably and (to my untrained eye) looks as if it may well lead to a collapse of part of the cliff.
Something has to be done about the whole sorry affair.
