As neighbouring residents of Block 8 Section 24 Phillip we are very concerned about the removal of any mature trees and the non replacement of dead trees over many years along Melrose Dr and Yarra Glen. When these roads were established a large number of trees were planted to act as a traffic noise, light and visual pollution buffer in this area to protect our suburbs environment. The proposed high density development on Block 8 and a joining sites will only increase the impact on the people who live near by. A tree replacement and watering program needs to start now so that trees have time to establish before building in what ever form starts.
