One of the main risks to the two protected trees T1 (Albizia) and T3 (Paperbark) trees is the construction of a masonry wall to Wycombe Road, which is not essential to the application. I would also be preferable to reflect the neighbouring timber fences rather than a high masonry wall to the street. A condition requiring a timber fence to Wycombe Road is suggested for these two reasons.
It is unclear why it is necessary to relocate the parking access from Shellcove Road, as existing, to Wycombe Road. There is already a concealed driveway beyond, requiring a concealed driveway sign on Wycombe Road, a new double garage closer to the blind corner is likely to exacerbate the blind spot. The new entrance in the location of the old garage is a little pastiche - the proportions are slightly wrong and do not reflect the architecture of the original house very well - and could be redesigned to retain a driveway access to Shellcove Road, as well as slightly improving the elevation treatment.
