I STRONGLY OPPOSE the proposed developments of 648-652 Princes Highway and 1-3 Ashton street, Rockdale NSW 2216.

To say I'm deeply distressed with the news of this proposed development is an understatement.

Rockdale is getting really quickly overwhelmed with really large number of big apartments and each of these apartments don't leave a single inch of space and are growing so quickly on both sides of Princes highway . The stretch starting from railway station already has so much ugly buildings with absolutely no greenery . This proposed development is going to make the last green patch along Princes highway disappear .Ashton street will be reduced to a dark alley with high rises on both the sides .Quite few existing homes will loose sunlight and air .

This will put further stress on resources in this high density area . If this is approved, it will increase congestion, traffic, noise, and deteriorate this area further.

I hope common sense & good judgement will prevail and Bay side council with heed to residents opinion.
