this type of vertical development is retrograde planning and will cause loss of privacy for many residents.Overlooking is inevitable while screening is a convenient cover story.I think these roof terraces need to be limited in size as well as the enclosed space covering the staircase entry to the roofs,Some DESIGNERS have hit on this idea which has a mercenary aspect to it and in many cases is pseudo architecture .Council should apply the provisions of the DCP 2011 and LEP 2011 most diligently so as precedent upon precedent does not change the character of our area.It is a pity that this influence in some cases is not of the best quality.
