I must say that I am completely amazed that these people are trying again to get approval for a child care centre on a very busy road which already has a public school a couple of hundred metres away. The only difference I see in the application is a basement carpark. This will do very little to reduce congestion on which is an already busy road. Given not every parent will use the basement carpark, are there also plans to implement another pedestrian crossing and if so, this will just add to the congestion of a busy road. I have no objection to childcare centre's, but I strongly object to developments that are going to not only increase road congestion, but also increase the risk of an accident, which is compounded when there are children involved.
