I really concern about impact of the construction to the Campsie public school where my child goes. The safety and privacy of the children in the school, the noise, pollution and the traffic would be much worst for the parents to drop off/ pick up their children. At the end of the day, these children are our future.

46-48 South Parade, Campsie plan to have a 68 lots/14 storey building, firstly does this not conflict with the 6 storey building limit in the area?
Regardless, high density occupied building will have a negative impact:
* privacy (directly over looking on to Campsie Public School ground)
* safety (objects/rubbish falling from residential apartments as has happened from the building 45 south Pde, daily constant heavy traffics)
* health hazard and pollution- reduce sun light and cast a shadow over the school learning environment, high density building will produce more rubbish and like building 45 South Pde where rubbish left out on the street in the direct path of schools and residential commuters.
* loss of council carparks for schools and local commuters including "voluntary planning agreement for road widening" on DA applications - does this mean elimination of more council carpark spaces and relocation of the existing local bus stops. Widening of the street means encouraging heavy traffics which will cause extreme concern to students safety daily.

Concerns during construction - noise, health and safety impact directly to local school students (dust, fumes, pollution, heavy construction noise, dangerous construction vehicles about, limit school evacuation exits, increase potential of WHS incidents the higher the building). This will certainly have a great negative impact on students' academic outcomes.
