Proposed use of the approved building known as 'The Calyx' (former Sydney Tropical Centre) within the Royal Botanic Gardens as an exhibition space, and for licensed private/corporate events. Exhibitions and events are to be set up between 7.00am and 10.00am, Mondays to Sundays; used as an exhibition space between 10.00am and 4.00pm, Mondays to Sundays; and for corporate/private events between 4.00pm and 12 Midnight, Mondays to Sundays. A pop up gift shop associated with the exhibitions is also proposed. The maximum capacity of the building is 400 patrons for functions.
